Gold Filter Material

does anyone know of a source for gold filter mesh (like swissgold) in flat stock, or, for that matter, another appropriate mesh? any guidance on recommended pore size (reading material, etc.) greatly appreciated. i want to play with different non-paper filtration materials in different configurations. thx.
