...and a lonely tumbleweed lumbers across the dried-up town of Coffeed.com. Abandoned.

Abandoned as it is about once per year, as its inhabitants converge elsewhere... for some godforsaken hootenanny.

Not me. I am luxuriating in the balmy 50 degree F weather of central NY state... under satiny gray skies (reduced UV risk - a weather feature lusted after by many but possessed by few).

Still wish I was there. Maybe next year.

Initially I was sorry not to attend as well, since I am in the midst of administering and marking end-of-term assignments and exams--not much fun. But it was a long winter in northern BC, and yesterday temperatures exceeded 20 C (68 F) for the first time so I went to the lake, which I think is much nicer than being on the trade show floor!
