Finalists are shocking to me in so many ways! Go Jim! Apparently , Stephen Morrissey does know what he's talking about!

Well, he did know all there was to know about Jim's milk.

Now that's taking one for the team...

is ZZ doing the actual camera work, or just videoing the WBC audience video screens?

I betting Zach and Catie are shooting a lot of raw footage, and probably will spend a zillion hours editing it up and releasing stuff throughout the next few weeks. I'm going to guess (apologies for speaking for them) that it came down to what to shoot to get stuff online as quick as possible for people around the world to see, esp. their own national competitors. The coolest thing I've seen this entire past two days is not so much the vids, but the COMMENTARY over on http://www.zacharyzachary.com where so many international people have been leaving comments and talk in their own languages for their national competitors. That just rocks.

There's stuff in what Jay wrote that I'm dying to comment on, but I'll save that for a later date.

This makes me so freaking excited!! This is something we've been wanting for years!!! Video and commentary!! OMG!!
And the footage is SO GOOD! I've got an old tape from what, 2003 where you can hardly even see what the competitors were doing. AND I PAID FOR IT!!! That was through the SCAA. These guys Za(CH) and Katie are offering this for free.
How can we even complain about this?

Yeah, i'm excited, stoked and deeply caffeinated.

no complaints for zz.com... but once again makes me question the value of what the SCAA provides.[/code]

Yeahbut....(one word)

that was also back in '03. A lot has evolved since then. Especially the competitions.

so I just got done watching Heather's performance, and, as a USBC Judge, one of the questions her sig drink raised was, "is there enough espresso in there?" Not enough espresso carries heavy penalties, and I figured that if she made it into the finals, then the judges must have felt it was okay, so I was sort of relieved when Michelle walked up to Heather at the end and said, "The judges are asking for your syringe..." Yay!

Great job, Heather!

Well done to the ZZ crew on an excellent job. All the coffee mad folk I know in the UK are glued to the videos and love being able to watch :P
