Brand Spankin' New Roasters Guild Forum

Yep, for the reals. There is an all new Roasters Guild forum right here

http://forums.roastersguild.org/index.php

Everything is on the up-and-up, non-anonymous, and organized in order to further discussion. The board is viewable to all, but you have to be a Roasters Guild member to join in the conversation. Come on by and tell us what you think.

Looks great Chris, and somehow so... familiar.

Was looking to respond / agree to your seasonality thread (but no roasters guild membership). How many members does the roasters guild have now?

Thanks for taking a look, Alistair. One of the many problems with the old Forum was that everything was lumped into 3 big general sections and it just became bloated and neglected and difficult to utilize as a tool. Discourse has almost always been at a higher level here and at other forums that were better organized. We really wanted to make the forum into a tangible and malleable benefit for our 345 members, while at the same time our mission has always been about reaching out as much as possible and that's why we made it readable to all. Hopefully people will begin to see some of the benefits of becoming a member through reading. I'd like to believe that there will be some back and forth between this and the many other coffee forums in the future.
