The final CoE internationally-juried competition of 2009 was held in Machado, Brazil Nov 9-13. The judges, as always, had the enviable yet challenging task of selecting the true gems from the screened and above-par submissions. Of the final 26 lots that scored 84 and above, the story of the year was probably the number of winners from Bahia and the farmers driving 22 hours to accept their awards!
